Miranda's Music Studio Policies

The studio is closed for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years weeks. Students and their families will be made aware of any other scheduled closures as needed. 

The studio will close if Springfield Public Schools close due to inclement weather. Lessons are cancelled if the school district you reside in closes.

To receive a make-up lesson, you must inform Mrs. Tina at least 24 hours in advance of the missed lesson. Exceptions can be made in the case of unforseen circumstances. (e.g. illness, family emergency, etc.) The make-up can be scheduled that week or applied as a price deduction for the following month. No-shows result in the loss of the lesson. No make-up or deduction will be issued for tardiness (10 minutes or more) or failure to inform the instructor of an absence.

A student may not attend lessons if they have experienced symptoms of a contagious illness in the last 24 hours. Including, but not limited to; influenza, covid-19, common cold, pink eye, norovirus, and strep throat. Students must be fever free for at least 24 hours to attend. Please contact the studio if a student will be missing a lesson due to illness.
